1. Orders & Consultations
Q: How do I place a custom order with Dionicio’s Closet?
A: There are two ways to order:

Book a Consultation: Pay the consultation or deposit fee, then we’ll schedule a measurement session (in person or virtually) and finalize all design details.

Purchase Directly Online: Choose your suit or tuxedo, place the order, and we’ll contact you to confirm measurements and final design details.
Q: Do I need to pay a consultation fee?
A: Yes. A consultation fee or deposit must be paid before measurements are taken. This secures your slot for a detailed fitting and design discussion. If you simply have quick questions, feel free to call or email us instead.
2. Pricing & Payment
Q: What does the quoted price include?
A: Your quote covers:

Delivery of the agreed-upon design

One complimentary alteration (up to $50) if requested within 7 days of receiving the garment
Q: Do you require a deposit?

Orders under $599.99: Full payment is required at the time of purchase.

Orders over $599.99: A 60% deposit of the total quoted price is due if you aren’t paying in full immediately. Deposits are nonrefundable and must be paid before measurements are taken.
Q: When is the remaining balance due?
A: The remaining 40%, plus any shipping costs and taxes, is due at your final fitting or before shipping (once you approve a photo or video of the completed garment).
Q: Which payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major debit/credit cards (in person or online via Square). In certain cases, we may use platforms like PayPal, Apple Pay, or Cash App.
3. Measurements & Fittings
Q: Can I get measured if I’m not local?
A: Absolutely. We can guide you via Zoom or FaceTime. If you choose to get measured elsewhere (e.g., a local tailor), we can provide a list of required measurements. However, if those measurements are inaccurate, Dionicio’s Closet cannot cover alteration costs.
Q: What if my suit or tuxedo doesn’t fit upon arrival?
A: We include one complimentary alteration (up to $50, with a receipt) if requested within 7 days of receiving the garment. If it still doesn’t fit after that alteration, we will remake it at no cost once the original garment is returned and you provide a valid tracking number. Expect 3–5 weeks for remakes.
Q: Will you cover alterations if I gain or lose weight later?
A: Unfortunately, if the fit issue is due to weight changes after delivery, those alterations are not covered or reimbursed.
4. Fabric & Design
Q: Can I pick my own fabric or send reference photos?
A: Yes! We’ll send fabric images labeled with reference numbers, or you can provide a fabric/photo for us to match as closely as possible. Once you approve a specific fabric, any later changes are at your cost.
Q: Will the fabric color look the same in person as in photos?
A: Studio lighting and digital screens can alter color tones slightly. We aren’t responsible for minor color variations due to lighting or display differences.
Q: Can I add new design details after we’ve finalized the contract?
A: Any additions not listed in the final agreement may incur extra fees, which must be paid in full before changes are made.
5. Turnaround Times & Rush Orders
Q: How long does it take to receive a custom garment?
A: Standard turnaround is generally 3½ to 6 weeks for suits/tuxedos, and 6 weeks for shoes (excluding manufacturer holidays). The timeframe may vary during busy seasons; we’ll let you know prior to payment.
Q: Is there a rush order option?
A: Yes. Rush orders are subject to a $150–$500 surcharge, depending on the complexity of the request. Please note that shipping and weather delays are outside our control.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Q: How will my order be shipped, and will I receive tracking information?
A: We typically ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. We’ll send you a tracking number once your order is shipped. Dionicio’s Closet is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit; please file a claim directly with the carrier.
Q: What if I provide the wrong address or use a forwarding service?
A: We aren’t responsible for shipments sent to forwarding services or for incorrect addresses. If the package is returned to us, you’ll need to cover any additional shipping fees for resending it.
7. Alterations & Returns
Q: Are alterations included in the price?
A: We offer one complimentary alteration per garment, worth up to $50, if done within 7 days of receipt. If alteration costs exceed $50, you’ll be responsible for the difference.
Q: Do you offer refunds on custom garments?
A: No. We do not issue refunds on custom items since each garment is tailored to your specific measurements and design choices.
Q: How long will you hold my completed garment?
A: We hold finished garments for 60 days after completion. If your remaining balance isn’t paid and the garment isn’t picked up by then, it may be resold. An inconvenience fee of $100 applies once 60 days pass; an additional $50 will be added each subsequent month.
8. Care Instructions
Q: How do I care for my custom suit or tuxedo?
A: We highly recommend professional dry cleaning. Please follow any specific care instructions provided for specialty or unique fabrics.
